GMarks: Cool extension for Google Bookmarks

GMarks helps you sync & manage your bookmarks with Google Bookmarks...

GMarks can display the bookmarks almost the same as Firefox's native
bookmarks: in a separate menu and in the sidebar. There's also a
dropdown that can be added to Firefox's toolbars. The sidebar is useful
when you want to perform full-text searches in your bookmarks without
having to visit Google's site, while the GMark menu has an excellent
option for managing bookmarks. If you click on "Organize bookmarks",
you'll be able to import bookmarks, edit or delete bookmarks and create
Gmail-like filters. For example, you can automatically add the label
Google for any bookmark from this blog.

Filter and Sort Tables from Web Pages

Filter and Sort Tables from Web Pages

TableTools
is a Firefox extension that lets you sort, filter and export tables
from any web page. After installing the extension and restarting
Firefox, find a web page that includes tables and right-click on a table to find a lot of interesting features:

* sort a column, depending on the type of elements (text, numbers, dates)
*
filter the rows of a table by selecting elements from a drop-down or by
entering your search terms, like in the screenshot below. You can even
enter regular expression to filter more complex patterns. After typing
the query, press Enter or click outside the active input box.
* export the entire table as tab-delimited text, HTML code or just the filtered rows

This
might be helpful if you want to insert some partial data from a table
in a document, a site or in Google Spreadsheets, which only supports
filtering using a limited gadget. For Google Spreadsheets, choose the
option to copy the rows as tab-delimited text.

Proxy Switch using Toolbar Buttons extension on Firefox 3

I have a proxy setting at office and connect to internet directly from my house. That requires me to every go into a deep-hidden option to switch from "Direct Connection" to "Manual Proxy" every day twice... once at office once at home....

I never liked that. Now that I recently started using Firefox 3, I thought of moving to something more automatic.... so searched for all the available extensions... foxy-proxy, Proxy-switch etc. While the former is available, its too complicated for the simple use, and Proxy-switch is not available on Firefox 3 yet...

So i turned to another interesting option instead... its Toolbar Buttons

A button pack for Firefox, Thunderbird and Sunbird

It has some really interesting other options, but what i liked the most was the toggel for Proxy on-off... really cool one and on my tool bar with just one click function... i am loving it.

These extensions should work on the latest versions of the Firefox (use the Nightly Tester Tools extension to make them work). Use extensions which work best for *your* needs. Why do you need this extension?

There are so many instances where you had to
