iGoogle: Gadget wise refresh cycle
Now that iGoogle is an immensely talented way to work in the web 2.0 world, we always want it to be slightly more talented.
Yes... the issue is some gadgets require frequent refresh (stock quotes, news etc) where as others need to be static, otherwise they break (Meboo is a classic example for that)....
I would love to have a gadget / userscript / preference setting that will allow me to set refresh time for each gadget... hope its not too much.
If i find one, i will update this post again... but till then we have to wait... anyone if knows how to do it, i would be greatful Sphere: Related Content

Saawaria Review - Good One
Though I never saw the movie, this review by one of my close friends has ensured that i don't even dare to do that ;)
To say Saawariya is a crappy movie would not be correct. Horrendously Ridiculous comes close, but it doesn't really capture the essence of the absurdity that this movie is. After watching this movie I felt like tying up Sanjay Leela Bansali alone in a room, forcing him to watch a cockroach chase a spider round-and-round a water fountain for 3 hours. That too in blue light. Because seriously, that's what this entire movie is. It's two grossly untalented kids, who probably got kicked out of college for lack of attendance and ended up on this set to spend the rest of the day. And for the love of God, I can't figure out why the whole movie is in blue! Maybe the director was trying to get every frame half-black half-blue so that the WinZip compression would work better to save some electrons(this is the best one) , what with all the global warming and all. That's the best explanation I could come up with, because nothing else can explain the lack of daylight (or plain light, for that matter) in this movie.
Sawaariya is one long song with some breaks for dialog. And by dialog I mean girly giggling by the chic and some punch-me-in-the-face expressions accompanied by pig-like grunting by the hero. One wonders if all the actors are the props and the set is the real star in this movie. I came really close to concluding that the bridge-over-the-fake-river is the central star of the movie, because everyone of the other actors looks like they were made of rock. And the rocks had moss growing over them. And the rocks were painted blue!!!
Watch it at your own risk, I am giving it a miss Sphere: Related Content

Can I get site feeds for specific labels?
I really wanted to know if it was possible, and found it in help center, thought of keeping it in my blog for future reference
Can I get site feeds for specific labels?
Can I get site feeds for specific labels?
Yes, you can! If a blog you read is using labels and also has site feeds enabled, then you can pick and choose which topics you want to subscribe to. The format for label feeds is this:http://
blogname
.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default/-/labelname
blogname
and the label you're interested in for labelname
. Also, don't miss the hyphen ("-") in the URL. That's not a typo!Note that a URL of this form will only work if the blog in question is using this specific label, and has also enabled site feeds. However, no special site feed settings are necessary. As long as the basic site feed for posts is enabled (with either short or full descriptions) then label feeds will also work.

Initially I was pretty crazy about the theme that changes colors as per the time, but later on, what the heck, its wasting 15% of the visible area... who gives a dam for it anyway?
So to take care of it, I found this interesting greasemonkey script iGoogle Max
The concept is simple, just get rid of the search box, you anyway don't need it if you use Google Toolbar!!!
So here is what my new iGoogle Home page looks like as compared to my previous one ;) Sphere: Related Content

Those in Grey were disabled today due to some reasons. The Gmail ones were to make way for the "Better Gmail" extension, but there was some problem in that too.... so may be enabling these back will be better option Sphere: Related Content
