I installed twhirl today.. its looking quite impressive... currently i use TwitterFox(firefox extension), which serves most of the purposes but does not have very good search capabilities.
Twhirl, which is based on Adobe Air is pretty good.. will experiment more and update again.Interestingly it can connect to multiple tols similar to twitter identi.ca, Friendfeed and seesmic.
